EMBRACING THE ROOT
“EMBRACING THE ROOT” is a climate-oriented opera creation that involves music, drama, puppetry, dance and animation.
The project is an initiative of the New York-based composer/pianist Carman Moore and the Danish actor/singer/songwriter Lotte Arnsbjerg. The performance is based on new scientific discoveries about the intelligence of nature – especially how plants communicate, sense and help each other for survival and sustained life.

Why I TREMBLE
The art and research into the question of how to recover from mental illness. In the past, psychiatric hospitals were deliberately placed in beautiful surroundings, and artistic expression and meaning-making for the individual were often a central part of the treatment because it was known to be healing for people in distress.
TREMBLE has initiated collaboration with resourceful organizations and actors who have the same great desire – to create better well-being for people living with vulnerability and particular sensitivity due to painful experiences and difficult life experiences.
